The longest days of the year are here, and with the sun not going down until after 9PM, and the afterglow lasting until after 10-ish, it's no wonder the streets of Davie Village are a-buzz with activity into the wee hours. Thank goodness for 24-7 amenities and daylight savings time!

That said, we are also gearing up for the unofficial kick-off to summer weekend here in Canada, locally known as the May 24th weekend, with it's infamous reputation of being one of the biggest party weekends of the year. Dust off the barby's, freshen up the muscle-t's, shorts and sandals, grab some sunscreen and prepare for a good time. Pick out your spot on a patio somewhere in the village, on a beach, or anywhere around town for that matter, and just enjoy the festive atmosphere all day long until the day cools down, and the nightlife heats up.
